A complex heritage restoration project complete with solid hardwood parquetry flooring.
This top-floor apartment is located in a landmark 100-year-old heritage building with limited access. As part of this project, complex fireproofing works were needed to bring the house to contemporary regulations, as the 150sqm apartment had an entire floor cavity of sawdust.
A harmonious and collaborative experience with the building’s strata saw us further contracted to build a new roof for the building and undertake a site-sensitive upgrade of common areas.
Client Testimonial: Keith Hartman - Homeowner
“My wife Kerry-Anne and I engaged Highfield to do a total renovation of our 100 year old, waterfront apartment at Kirribilli. I had seen first-hand the quality of Max's work, as he had recently completed a major job on our apartment block. Our Owners Corporation had been very pleased with him and his workmanship."
